An unlikely duo have been the local and yard power at Brandon for the past month or so... CN GMD1u 1400 and C40-8 2100.

CP 3081 arrives at Brandon, MB with what appears to be a local potash train. Along side, a GMD switcher does morning chores and a westbound empty coal train from Thunder Bay, ON waits to depart.

A manifest departs Brandon for points west.

CP 8623 leads a westbound manifest out of Brandon.

CP 8806 and 9129 pass by each other at Brandon's crew change point and continue on.

CP 3061 and 3037 sit in the yard waiting for the assignment to take P36 on the kilarney turn. CP 878's BNSF power sits of to the side.

Among several other railfans on the 10th street overpass in Brandon we finally see it arrive in the CP yard.
